Coronavirus precautionary measures

The University of Bergamo is paying great attention to Coronavirus 2019 (2019-nCoV) developments, the famous virus originated in China, (Wuhan).

Currently there are no cases related to the virus in UniBg, still we want to recommend with the whole UniBg community to follow the precautionary measures of the Ministero della Salute, and we ask all those recently returned from a trip to China - or about to return - to read the following instructions:

  1. Please avoid crowded places if you have been back for less than 14 days. If 14 days after arrival in Italy no symptoms related to Coronavirus appear, you cant stop avoiding any public place.
  2. In case of classic flu symptoms - fever, cough, breathing difficulties - we recommend to contact your doctor as soon as possible, or call the number set up by the Ministry of Health (1500). The call center answers in Italian, Chinese and English.

If you are planning a trip to China soon, read the instructions of the Ministero della Salute and, if you are a student enrolled in study and work abroad programs, contact the program coordinator for more information.
