Psychological Counselling Service

The Psychological Counselling Service is aimed at all university students who experience personal or relational distress during their university career.

The service is managed by the Orientation and International Programmes Office and is provided by four independent psychologist counsellors.

How does it work?

The service is completely free of charge and consists of a maximum of 5 sessions, approximately one every fortnight.

The sessions can take place in person (at the premises in Via dei Caniana 2, Bergamo only) or remotely (via the Microsoft Teams platform).

To access the service, you need to fill in this form.

Students will be contacted directly by the office of the service.

Rules for access to the service

To ensure an effective service and in compliance with the Psychologists' Code of Ethics, we remind you that:

  • you will not be able to use this service if you are already engaged in a psychological process
  • appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance; a cancellation made with shorter notice may result in you being moved to the end of the waiting list
  • at the end of the process, you will be asked to fill in a questionnaire that can help us improve the service; in addition, 4 months after the last session, you will receive a follow-up questionnaire
