The first BAUHAUS4EU photo contest: “Inclusive Grounds: Stories of Belonging and Resilience”

As students at our university, you spend a lot of time on campus and in the streets of our city, but do you ever think about the history and life of these places? What do they convey to you?

The photo contest organized by the ten partner universities of the BAUHAUS4EU Alliance invites you to do just that. We challenge you to look beyond the surface, to observe, capture, and reveal the invisible threads that connect people: spaces, moments, and relationships.

The theme of the 1st BAUHAUS4EU Photo Contest is “Inclusive Grounds: Stories of Belonging and Resilience” and focuses on how campuses reflect the shared mission of our Alliance, founded on the values of resilience, sustainability, inclusivity, and beauty. The competition will be open from October 20 to November 14, 2025 to students from all disciplines—from architecture and design to social sciences, economics, and technology—enrolled for the 2025-2026 academic year at each of the partner universities.

For the winners of this international competition, we have also come up with prizes that reflect our desire for discovery and travel!

The winners will be announced on December 8, 2025.

Now that we've piqued your curiosity, here you will find the complete announcement and how to participate.

Don't forget to share the photo you want to submit on your social media accounts, tagging BAUHAUS4EU and UniBg profile and using the hashtag #B4EUOPhotoContest.

It is important that submissions are made in accordance with the rules. If you have any questions, please write to [email protected]
