March 26th - What is changing in Spring 2020

In the last few hours, the University has made a series of changes to some academic activities are carried out, to meet the difficulties encountered by students.
The Rector expresses his closeness to the entire student community with a letter, in which he illustrates the main novelties of the Rector's emergency decree.

March 21st - Suspension of academic activities in presence until april 15th

Following the Regione Lombardia Ordinance, march 21st 2020, activities in presence are suspended until april 15th. Read the official document in the related section of this page, follow the constant updates and read the FAQs.

March 20th - New details on academic activities: degrees, exams and fees

The Rector sent a letter to the students to express his closeness to the whole academic community and to detail the methods for carrying out the profit exams and the thesis discussions, in addition to the aspects related to university taxes and fees.
We therefore updated the FAQ page to provide punctual information for all those are concerned about the thesis discussion, the exam calendar and the taxes payment deadline.

March 13th 2020 - Letter of the Rector to all students

As from Monday 16 March and until further notice, all Bergamo and Dalmine university premises will be closed, with the exception of via dei Caniana and via Salvecchio, the latter limited to concierge services.

Suspension of academic activities

The Conference of Rectors of Universities in Lombardy stated the precautionary measures implemented by UniBg will be postponed.

Our priority is to ensure that the lessons are carried out and resumed, but in order to do so it is necessary to reschedule the didactic activities. Exams are postponed.

For all those among you who will have to discuss the thesis in the next sessions in March and April, the University has decided, in accordance with the DPCM - 8/03/2020, to provide for the thesis discussion remotely according to indications that will be sent in the next days.

In case the emergency situation should end, the University will review this decision by returning to the traditional proceedings.

Conferences (open to external or internal public) and student reception will be suspended; Access to libraries will only be allowed for loan and return functions, while spaces reserved for consultation and study will be closed.

All administrative services that do not involve reception to the public are guaranteed.

  • Wash your hands often
  • Every public space should be provided with hydroalcoholic solutions to sanitize hands
  • Avoid close contacts with those who suffer from respiratory infections 
  • Avoid hugging or kissing
  • Keep a distance while social interacting (1 meter)
  • Please sneeze or cough in a tissue, not your hands
  • Don't share glasses or bottles with anyone, expecially during sport activities 
  • Don't youch your eyes, nose and mouth with your hands
  • Cover mouth and nose while you sneeze and/or cough 
  • Don't take antiviral and antiobtic drugs, unless prescribed by your doctor 
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces at your house 
  • Use mask only if you suspect to be infected, or if you're assisting ill people
