Is UniBg open?

Academic activities (lessons, exams, conferences and seminars, study rooms, office hours) will be carried out remotely from november 5th to december 3rd.

Is Students' Services Office open?

  • Schedule your appointment at the Desk via the apposite tool.

    The opening hours will be:
    monday 13.30 - 15.30
    thursday 10.00 -12.00

Are Print services open?

The Print services opens to the public at the following times:

  • Caniana - Monday to Friday, 9 am-5pm
  • Sant'Agostino - Thursday, 10: 00-12: 30
  • Dalmine - Tuesday, 9:30 - 12:00

Entrance will be allowed only to a maximum of 2 people at a time.
It will not be possible for students to enter through the main entrance of via dei Caniana with access to the university premises, but only through the internal parking, thus making the external loop to reach us (there will be signs and signals).

Students are invited to continue to proceed with the thesis orders by email and come in person for withdrawals (all students who have to print the thesis are invited to request material and useful information at stampa.unibg@alba2011. com, and send your files exclusively by mail to the same address).

Are canteens open?

From October 12th, the three UniBg canteens will reopen, with new rules for access and consumption of meals.

Thanks to the Fresh & Natural App you can book your meal, which you can decide whether to eat in the canteen, reserving a seat, or withdraw it to eat it wherever you prefer.

Are libraries open?

From October 5th 2020, the libraries reopened the reading rooms for study and consultation, in compliance with the necessary measures for the safety of all:

interpersonal distancing, use of masks and sanitizing products.

You can have a seat in the reading room, consult theses or databases from the positions in the library, receive advice for your research by booking the service through the Booking portal.

Are study rooms open?

The study rooms are at the service of teaching and exams. When not occupied by these activities, they cannot in any case be used for individual study, because it would be impossible to plan the sanitation interventions of the environments effectively.

Internships: what to do

 

  • Internships

The methods of conducting curricular internships for the academic year 2020-2021 are also rethought in continuity with what was already experienced in the period of the health emergency and the lockdown of last spring.

In particular:

  1. If the internship is in progress or is being activated:
    ​​​​​​- if the internship is taking place at the headquarters of the host organization (in conditions of complete safety) or in smartworking mode, it is possible to continue it until the necessary hours for the acquisition of the CFU required by the system are completed; - if the internship has been interrupted by the host organization without continuing in smartworking mode, but at least 70% of the total hours have been reached, the internship will be considered concluded;
    - If the internship has been interrupted by the host organization, without continuing in smartworking mode, and at least 70% of the total hours has not been reached, the internship must be completed with further activities agreed with the teacher, in accordance with what is explained in p. 2.
     
  2. If the internship is not yet activated
    - It is possible to agree an alternative activity (Laboratory, report on the work process, ..) with the referent teacher of the internships of one's degree course, as much as possible congruent with the educational objectives envisaged for the curricular internship; - it is not possible to replace the internship activity with taking an exam.
    - As regards internships abroad, Erasmus + activities and CRUI internships continue (where possible, in smartworking mode) but no mobility calls for internships in non-European countries will be activated until the health situation is stabilized at a global level.
    - Internships in hospitals are temporarily suspended.

 

EXTRA-CURRICULAR TRAINEESHIPS:

  • If you are working in Smartworking, send an email to [email protected], stating that the tutoring activity continues even at a distance.
    In this case, you will receive the monthly allowance normally.
  • In case you are not in Smartworking and you stay at home, do not request the "suspension" online in the Sportello Internet, but, when the internship is about to expire, request the extension online.

CURRICULAR INTERNSHIPS

For current curricular internships, expecially if close to the deadline, you can request an online extension for the maximum time available, i.e. 6 months, at least one week before the end of the internship date entered on the training project. This step will allow us to extend insurance coverage. For information write to [email protected]

  • If you are working in Smartworking, send us an email stating that the tutoring activity continues even at a distance.
  • In case you are not in Smartworking and you stay at home, do not request the "suspension" online in the Internet Desk, but, when the internship is about to expire, request the extension online.
