Call for applications for 2 study grants and welcome services for refugee students registering for Second cycle degree programs taught in English at the University of Bergamo, Academic Years 2022-23 and 2023-24
In the mainframe of the University Corridors for Refugees 4.0 (UNICORE 4.0) programme, coordinated by UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), University of Bergamo is a partner to the inclusive education programme to promote refugees' access to university education, social integration and active participation in academic life.
Under the UNICORE 4.0 - University Corridors for Refugees project, University of Bergamo awards two scholarships worth € 6,000 each to candidates who are refugees in Niger, Nigeria, Cameroon, Malawi, Mozambico, Sud Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and will been admitted to a master degree programme.
More benefits will be provided, as described in the call for applications, by Caritas Bergamasca and Diaconia Valdese.
Candidates interested in the UNICORE 4.0 scholarship programme provided by the University of Bergamo, must follow the instructions indicated in the call.
Every year the University of Bergamo offers study grants of €8.000 gross to deserving EU and Non-EU students who wish to enroll at the first year of the following Masters’ degree Courses taught in English.
These study grants are assigned on the basis of GRE test score report.

GRE test is an aptitude and skills assessment test, it can be attended in authorized center in various countries around the world.

PAYMENTS: The first installment of scholarship will be paid to beneficiary students without accommodation place in the University Hall of Residence by bank transfer by the 31st December every year. The second installment will be paid starting from June every year
PLEASE NOTE: To apply for financial benefits, students enrolled at UniBg, must obtain an ISEE certification from an Authorized Fiscal Assistance Centre (called CAF in Italy). An ISEE (Indicator of the economic situation for University purposes) estimates the economic situation of families.
