More than an innovation district

The district partners share the open innovation paradigm, whereby the sharing of knowledge is a key element to stay competitive in the global environment.

The Kilometro Rosso realities operate mainly in the fields of mechanics, ICT, life sciences, clean energy and services for innovation.

Kilometro Rosso, certified incubator of the Regione Lombardia for innovative companies, is also a member of international communities and networks such as IASP (International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation), APSTI (Associazione de Parchi Scientifici e Tecnologici Italiani) and AIRI (Associazione Italiana Ricerca Industriali).

The Kilometro Rosso campus, a collaborative project involving the contribution of notable architects such as Jean Nouvel and Richard Meier, overlooks the A4 motorway, capturing the attention of over 100 million vehicles every year.
