Non-EU: What to do before leaving your country
Study Visa application
- After being selected as eligible candidates, prospective students are required to pre-enroll and apply for a VISA at the Italian Representative in their Country.
- Students can apply online for pre-enrollment and Study Visa through UNIVERSITALY PORTALE where they can find all useful information.
Usual requirements for Study Visa application :
- Proof of economics means to afford daily expenses and transport to and from hometown
- Health insurance purchased in your country and approved by the embassy/consulate (check the section Health Insurance)
- Proof of having booked an accommodation in Italy (check the section Accommodation)
- Admission letter issued by the University of Bergamo
What to do before leaving your country
Check online the deadlines for the scholarship on the section Fees, Grants and Scholarship and prepare the required documents.
The scholarship will not be paid at your arrival but a few weeks after the ranking publications.

- Book a long term accommodation Contact the Accommodation office
- Prepare ISEEU Parification certification

- Book a temporary accommodation in Bergamo (for 5-7 days stay)
Check Accommodation to book a 5-7 days stay. - Prepare paper and digital copies of all important certificates
Two copies of your passport ( included VISA), fee payments receipt, Declaration of Value, Health Insurance, admission letter stamped by the Italian Embassy - Photos
4 passport size photos (To submitt at the police station for the Electronic Permit of Residence)
