On Wednesday 26 February 2020, during the council meetings of the Board of Directors and the Academic Senate, Dr. Michela Pilot, currently vicar general director at the University of Brescia, was assigned the position of Managing Director of the University of Bergamo.

Dr. Pilot will officially assume her managerial role from 1 March 2020.
