PhD programs are covered by both an INAIL insurance policy and a liability insurance policy (RCT/RCO).
In the event of an accident, the PhD student must:
The PhD School will inform the staff economic management operating unit (for INAIL management) and the bursar/superintendentship operating unit (for insurance policy management).
In the event of an accident with absence exceeding 30 days the program and the scholarship are suspended, subject to a decision of the PhD Program Board according with the University Regulations on PhD Programs. Once the reason for suspending attendance ceases to exist, the PhD Program Board decides how the student’s educational activities may be resumed, without prejudice to the fact that in no cases may the duration of the course be reduced.
PhD students who need accommodation may take part in the competition for accommodation in student residences. Calls for accommodation are published from the middle of July to the beginning of September. The prior admission to the PhD program is not required for entering the competition.

All PhD students may access the university catering facilities at out-of-range students fares. In case they obtain an ISEE/PhD programs certification issued by INPS - which can also be released by government offices for tax assistance and information (CAF) - within December 31st 2022, PhD students will be entitled to additional discounts according to the standards provided at www.unibg.it/isu (section: Catering service).
