Pre-enrollment procedures

Pre-enrollment

  • In July 
    After being selected as eligible candidates, prospective students are required to contact the relevant Italian diplomatic Representation (Embassy or Consulate) in their country of residence in order to pre-enroll by personally submitting the required documents.
     
  • In July/August
    The Italian Representation will provide transmit the list of applicants to the University of Bergamo and the University will publish on the website, the date of the Admission interview.

Procedures at the Italian Representation, Visa application

In August, future students must contact again the Italian Embassy to require the Italian entry visa for study purposes, and must provide them the following documents:

Future students can also apply for the TAX CODE (codice fiscale) to the Italian Representation in the country of residence (further information on the section Document and Visa).

Scholarship

Check online the deadlines for the scholarship on the section Fees, Grants and Scholarship and prepare the required documents.
The scholarship will not be paid at your arrival but a few weeks after the ranking publications.

Be ready by August
  • Check on line the deadline for accommodation call at UniBg 
    Accommodation, University Residence Competition Call and cost of living and prepare the required documents.
     
  • Book a long term accommodation 
    Once you have received the study VISA and payed the pre-enrollment fee, Contact the Accommodation office or check the General Info document below.
     
  • Prepare ISEEU Parification certification 
    Prepare the documents for the income certification and the following website For further information ticket – tracking
     
  • Pay pre-enrollment fee 
    contact the Student’s office to pay by bank transfer the pre-enrollment fee (€52,00) 
     
  • Book a temporary accommodation in Bergamo (for 5-7 days stay) 
    Check Accommodation, University Residence Competition Call and cost of living to book a 5-7 days stay.
     
  • Prepare copies of all important certificates
    Two copies of your passport included VISA), fee payments receipt, Declaration of Value, Health Insurance, admission letter stamped by the Italian Embassy
     
  • Photos  
    4 passport size photos (To submitt at the police station for the Electronic Permit of Residence)
