The University of Bergamo, within the frame of its STaRs program, fosters the recruitment of young researchers through two types of grant:

• Senior researcher (3-year grant): each year the University provides funding for 20 grants with a three-year timescale (€ 30,000 a year) for those with a Ph.D or equivalent qualification. In addition, a personal research fund of € 1,500 is ensured yearly.
• Junior researcher (1-year grant): each year the University provides funding for 6 grants (€ 25,000 a year) for those with a master degree or equivalent qualification. In addition, a personal research fund of € 500 is ensured yearly.
